Sketches & Illustrations ˎˊ˗

This section showcases a collection of my personal favorite drawings, sketches and illustrations i made.

1/ Eclipsed in Leporello

Project Type : Academic

Date : March 2024

Tools : Watercolor, bic pens, pencils

‘Come to my place, I live outside,’ a phrase from my art teacher to inspire a story illustrated as a leporello we had to create, a tiny 5 page book. I chose to personify the sun and the moon as two powerful women, each with distinct personalities, symbolizing harmony in duality and the beauty of the universe. Their story culminates in an eclipse, where they merge into one, highlighting the cosmic connection between opposites.

2/ Ten words

Project Type : Academic

Date : September – December 2023

Tools : Watercolor, bic pens, pencils, flowers, ferrero paper cup

We were tasked with illustrating ten words that held personal meaning for us and explaining on paper why we chose them and how we represented them. I decided to portray the same girl in every drawing, her eyes closed, embodying each word in her own way. It was a fascinating project, showing there’s more to art than random anime or cat sketches (even if those are great too).

3/ Black & White sketches

Project Type : Personal

Date : 2023 – 2024

Tool : HB pencil

I’m always sketching, and sometimes, it becomes so immersive that the sketch starts looking like a fully finished drawing! Since discovering this, it has become a passion of mine—creating “sketchy finished drawings.” I find they feel more alive this way.

4/ Digital Art

Project Type : Personal

Date : 2023 – 2024

Tools : Procreate (on Ipad)

I love how apps like Procreate offer thousands of possibilities for creativity. I’ve only made a few “finished” drawings so far because there are so many features to explore and experiment with !
